Linda Dew-Hiersoux

Our pastor is Linda Dew-Hiersoux. Linda was raised in a United Methodist family and lives nearby in Elk Grove. Her husband Mark is a General Contractor and they have 3 children ages 7, 8 and 15. Linda is especially drawn to creative worship and loves to create intergenerational experiences on Sunday mornings. Her radio is usually tuned to NPR or 107.9...unless her daughter is in the car in which case it is RadioDisney! Family time is spent on one soccer field or another where you can usually find her squeezing in some exercise or sitting on the sidelines knitting in her soccer chair.

Sara Zeigler

Sara is our music worship leader and choir director. She has served as choir and handbell director, as well as worship leader for over 40 years in various United Methodist churches. She served as musical director for Methodist Actors Serving the Church, a religious music/drama troupe, for five years and in summer camp music ministry for over ten years. Sara was a teacher in the Sacramento City Unified Schools both in choral music and English and is now retired after 31 years. She received her B.A. degree in music and a secondary teaching credential from California State University, Sacramento. She has been involved in various community choruses and musical theater production through-out her career. Sara has given private voice lessons for over 35 years and at present sings with the River City Chorale. She is also Vice-President of the Mu Phi Epsilon International Fraternity of Music.

Sara is also serving as our Administrative Assistant. At present, she is a candidate for the Order of Deacon in the United Methodist Church. Other areas of service include Side-by-Side Spiritual Companion Ministry with the Homeless.
